Draft policy. Customer registration and payment processing must remain disabled until a complete, legally reviewed privacy policy, retention procedure and required disclosures are implemented.

Information processed when commerce is activated

Customer account information may include a name, email address, and a securely derived password hash. Orders may include product selections, totals, payment status and shipping information. Payment card details are handled by Stripe, not directly stored by this website.

Why we use information

Account and order information is used to provide purchased services, fulfill orders, communicate about purchases and maintain security. Hosting and service providers may process operational records.

Cookies and preferences

Across cosmicaerospace.ca and its Avionics and SWIFT subdomains, we use essential first-party cookies: cosmic_theme remembers your chosen light/dark appearance; cosmic_consent remembers your Accept/Reject decision; and a very short-lived cosmic_handoff supports the website transition animation. You can reopen Cookie preferences from the footer. No optional advertising or analytics cookies are currently used.

Customer accounts

When customer registration is activated, we will use email verification and store a salted password hash rather than plaintext passwords. The Avionics shopping cart uses local browser storage. Transactional account messages may be processed by an email delivery provider configured by Cosmic Aerospace. Registration and payments will not be activated until the required operating and privacy checks are complete.

Security and rights

Access to personal information is restricted according to business need. Contact us to request access, correction or deletion where legally applicable. Before launch, this notice must specify storage locations, retention periods, service providers and the Québec privacy contact.
